don't just stand there, bust a toe

oh wow. just wow.

well, had a marathon session last night, involving some govt peeps, KC and a lot of miller lite.

and then a subdued night at the local bar/hangout - to wind down and get ready for sleep

so, after we are done and off to bed, what happens?

i slip and in trying to stabilize, drag my sandal clad foot across the pavement.

ouch. very ouch.

and then was the hilarity in trying to explain to the front desk that i just needed some bandages.

i received a giant metal first aid kit that looked as if it had been around since 1965. I dragged my ass over the men's room where KC and I marveled at the irony.

bandaged and limping, I headed home for some much needed rest.
